Return & Cancellation Policy

1. General Policy Statement
We operate with a strictly limited return, refund, and cancellation policy, applicable only in the case of physical damage incurred during shipping. We do not entertain requests for returns, replacements, cancellations, or refunds for reasons such as:
- Change of mind
- Personal dissatisfaction with product experience
- Incorrect product ordered
- Allergy or reaction (unless explicitly mentioned in the precautions)
- Delivery delays due to courier partner or unforeseen logistics issues
Your understanding of this policy helps us maintain fair practices while continuing to offer high-quality and affordable skincare and wellness products.
2. Return & Replacement Eligibility
A return or replacement request will be considered only under the following conditions :
- The product(s) received is/are physically damaged or broken in transit.
- The damage is reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- A valid unboxing video is provided as evidence, starting from the sealed parcel to the point of revealing the damage.
Additional Requirements :
- The product must be unused and in the same condition as received.
- All original packaging, inserts, labels, and tags must be intact.
- The product must be returned in the same outer packaging (where possible).
If your claim meets the above criteria, we may offer the following (based on availability and our internal review) :
- A replacement of the same product, or
- A refund to the original payment method if the product is no longer in stock.
3. Unboxing Video Guidelines (Mandatory for Any Claim)
To process a valid claim, the unboxing video must:
- Clearly show the sealed parcel before opening.
- Capture the entire process of unboxing, showing the packaging layers.
- Display the damaged product clearly and unambiguously.
- Be unedited, continuous, and recorded in good lighting.
Note: Claims without a valid unboxing video will not be entertained under
any circumstances.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are applicable only in cases where :
- The product is physically damaged due to shipping, AND
- A replacement cannot be arranged (e.g., item out of stock).
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within 7 to 10 business days.
Refunds will not be issued in any of the following cases :
- Product used or tampered with
- Damage reported after 48 hours of delivery
- Missing or unclear unboxing video
- Reasons not related to product damage (e.g., dissatisfaction, allergy, etc.)
5. Cancellation Policy
As a policy, we do not allow cancellations once an order has been
successfully placed.
This is because all orders are processed in real-time and packed for dispatch
immediately to ensure timely delivery. However, under exceptional
circumstances, a cancellation request may be considered if:
- The order has not yet been dispatched from our facility.
- The cancellation request is raised within 2 hours of placing the order.
To request cancellation (within the allowed window), please write to us at
it.absolutebasics@gmail.com with your Order ID and reason for cancellation.
The decision to approve or reject a cancellation lies solely with the company.
Orders once shipped cannot be cancelled or modified.
6. Non-Eligibility for Return, Refund, or Cancellation
Please note that we will not be able to entertain any claims that fall into the following categories :
- No unboxing video provided
- Unboxing video started after packaging was already opened
- Return or damage reported after 48 hours
- Product used or tested
- Dissatisfaction with product results (subjective experience)
- Delay in delivery due to third-party courier services
- Multiple requests for the same order
7. How to Raise a Return or Refund Request
If your product has arrived damaged and meets the criteria outlined above, please follow these steps:
1. Email us at it.absolutebasics@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order.
2. Mention your Order ID, full name, and registered mobile number.
3. Provide a clear description of the damage and attach the unboxing video.
4. Wait for our team to review and respond within 2 business days.
Our customer service team will assist you with the next steps once the claim
is verified.
8. Company Rights & Discretion
- Ruvico Consumer Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to reject any return, refund, or cancellation request that does not comply with our policy.
- The company’s decision in all matters related to return, refund, or cancellation shall be final and binding.
- We may modify this policy without prior notice. Please refer to this page regularly for the latest updates.
